vermont horse patrol > support > donate
The Vermont Mounted Response Unit is a state recognized nonprofit organization. Our federal forms are filed and pending, and we expect to receive federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit designation within the next few months.
Your support of the Vermont Mounted Response Unit can go a long way toward helping us protect and save lives. Donations are used to defray the cost of providing services and equipping, training, transporting and maintaining the unit's horses.
To make a donation of feed, horses or equipment, please contact the unit commander, Captain Grant Mitchell. We are in particular need of ongoing feed and equipment sponsors to further defray the cost of maintaining each horse in the unit.
Monetary gifts may be sent to the Vermont Mounted Response Unit at the address below, and you are welcome to comment on how you would prefer the gift be used. Gifts are acknowledged with a personal note from one of our Rangers and in our newsletter.

Please let us know if you would like to help establish a special fund for the purchase of a horse, saddle, protective equipment, trailer, tow vehicle or other Vermont Horse Patrol need. It's a wonderful way to honor or remember the equestrian or first responder in your life.
