Learn to Ride Like a Ranger

You've probably seen them in action: mounted rangers moving through a crowd or down a busy street proudly astride police mounts that exude confidence and authority.

So many people have approached us asking, "Can you teach me to ride like a ranger? Can you teach my horse?" that we have created an extended clinic where you and your horse build skills and confidence normally reserved for members of Vermont's elite Mounted Response Unit.

This unique program is ideal for anyone wanting to develop the skills of a mounted ranger without actually joining the mounted response unit, and is designed for mid to older teens and adults who are ready to learn to:

  • Build exceptional rider and mount confidence
  • Approach obstacles without fear
  • Work as a mounted team
  • Trust in each other
  • Ride with pride
  • Have fun
